While chromium picolinate by itself has shown substantial benefit as a nutrition supplement, newly patented, synergistic chromium-based nutrient combinations are now in development at Nutrition 21.
The Company has developed several techniques to streamline a process for identifying these potentially health-enhancing formulas, and now has several of these formulations undergoing rigorous clinical testing.

Led by James Komorowski, Nutrition 21’s Vice President of Technical Services and Scientific Affairs, the company’s platform of scientific research and discovery will continue to validate its products through well-respected published studies. This research will serve as a foundation for the development and marketing of Nutrition 21’s innovative products, products which will be designed to earn the confidence of both consumers and healthcare professionals alike.

Current research is being carried out in collaboration with respected clinical-trial and disease-management companies, including Comprehensive NeuroScience, and through alliances with independent institutions, such as Duke University Medical Center, Warneford Hospital at Oxford University, University of Vermont College of Medicine, Penn State University and the Harvard University School of Public Health.
