John H. Gutfreund is Senior Advisor of Collins Stewart LLC (formerly C. E. Unterberg Towbin) and President of Gutfreund & Co., Inc. (1993). Mr. Gutfreund was formerly with Salomon Brothers (1953-91). He was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Salomon Brothers Inc (1981-91); Co-Chairman, Phibro Corp. (1981-83); Co-Chief Executive Officer, Phibro-Salomon Inc. (1983-84); Chief Executive Officer, Phibro-Salomon Inc. (1984-86); Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President of Salomon Inc (1986-91). Mr. Gutfreund is a Director, AXES, LLC; Director, Evercel, Inc.; Director, LCA-Vision, Inc.; Director and Chairman of the Board, Nutrition 21, Inc.
